o! i like the contrast between the sky and the tree line....is that an inkling of a brook i see coming...?

i will have to get her to allow me to take one of the finished work... brook close a waterfall is in there... below the cliffs.. i titled it Cold Cliffs... funny i always feel like my things are never seen as intended.


and i have so many sititng waiting for the canvas to tell me what is there to finish them.....

that is very nice..i love gouache...the thick muddiness of it...its the feel of oils, but more loosey goosey....(and of course, not as flexible...)

I should work more in gouache, but for some reason I haven't touched it since college.

Here is another that I did back then for an assignment. We were to take a magazine picture of a face and turn it into high contrast planes and contours. This has always been one of my favorites from this class and it still resides in my portfolio

Stick Figures

I was once pretty good at drawing stick figures, but without practice it is all lost to me.

Seeing all of your artwork is inspiring though. Perhaps I'll dust off the stick figure sketchbook and .... NAW! too much work.
