Are your "Lit Habits" the same now as when you first joined?

I'm another one who started out in the chat room. Well, I really started with the stories, but found chat pretty quickly.

Over the last year or so, I guess I post less on general topics and focus more with a group of people who have become good friends.

I used to post pics in the amateur forum, but I mostly hang with friends there now. Though I am venturing into the general board more often.

When i first came here I did alot of reading and only a little posting and I came alot. Now i come back from time to time and if i find something interesting to post to I do. I think I come now when I have a need to express myself. I know I dont have the expectations of the place that I once did.

When I first came to Lit, it was for the stories.

Then I found the message board. And I started posting. My first post I got slammed by people who said I reminded them of someone who is fairly unpopular here. A kind person explained the insider joke to me, and I cautiously started posting more, on the how-to forum and in here.

I found chat, and started chatting - a much friendlier place for me, really.

In the meantime, I was being harassed by someone here, and so I stopped coming here, went to Ambro's site. She followed me there, and I stopped going anywhere but chat for quite a while. I did continue to look in here periodically, and every now and then post.

Now... I still chat, and I come here and to other sites, I still read the stories... I've sort of come full circle to where I started, equally spending my time between here and chat and the stories.

And, someday my post count will get to 1,000.

Eventually.

i just signed up on literotica and have been feverishly exploring everything. it's sort of overwhelming. there's so much here--the stories and poems, the boards. it's positively incredibly daunting. and i mean that in the nicest way.

i'll try to be natural about my literotica habits, heh heh. you know, not self-conscious. but what a community.

I had read stories here for awhile, before I stumbled onto the board. At first, I mainly posted in the Sexual Role Play forum. Slowly but surely I shifted to a mainly GB poster.

And, I was full of flirty fluff when I first came here - generally afraid of pissing other off - a lot of tongue biting.

Now, that I'm more established, I don't mind stepping on a few toes, and I'm much more careful in my flirting .. one never knows how it could be taken.

lol - I remember now. I suppose now I'm not so worried if someone from RL finds out I frequent a board like this. My sister and brother-in-law know (hell, my bro-in-law joined Lit, too) and don't think anything of it. I've become more independant lately, and a *bit* more sure of myself.

I found the board soon after I started looking for porn on the web. I read the stories but didn't know what a board was. One day, I stumbled in and boy, was I surprised!

It took me forever to get to 100, then 1000, then 2000. Yesterday I posted 53! times and, since the last time I had looked at my daily average, it went up by 1 whole point!

I am up to 5 posts a day.

Well I still read stories, so that hasn't changed.

And I still hang out here when I really oughta be writing, so that hasn't changed.

But, one thing that has changed is that I don't go into chat anymore, as now I am back in England with hubby, and not stranded lonely and sexless in middle-America anymore, so I don't need it.
