lots of people assume that BDSMers must be crazy...not saying there's a connection, just curious to know how many here aren't all that sane.

So, do we have to admit to what our answer is? :D
lol, no ;).
i'm interested in the numbers...any comment is a bonus!

I'm interested to see how this turns out as well. I've given a lot of thought to this in the past and I wish there was a way to get more accurate info on this matter.

The biggest obstacle I faced when I've tried to do my own research on this is people's inability to distinguish the difference between being someone with issues, who could benefit from psychotherapy and having a clinical disorder that really needs the care of a psychiatrist. Of course, neither of those groups are mutually exclusive or collectively exhaustive.

I wouldn't lable myself totally sane for anyone.... too much pressure. ;)

I'm sane-ish. Hell ANY Mom is not totally sane, her kids drive her crazy... and I have 3!!! :D

you mean someone like yourself, in other words...

Dolf - good question..

I sometimes worry about my sanity. I constantly see myself dying or being injured.
For example, when at the top of a flight of stairs - I get a weird sensation of having someone finding my crumpled body at the bottom.

Sometimes I worry, as I have these flashes when crossing the road as I do pause or start to walk slower. Not a good idea within busy traffic.

Oh well.

Well, I clicked on the one that says my nuts are fully functioning. :D

I clicked on totally normal. To me, I am. To someone else, I might not be normal, however it's what I think of me that counts.

One down and 2 to go.

Perhaps some day you'll reach a level of sanity.

Oh well.

Sounds like repressed fears breaking out of your subconscious. Extremely common, but worth getting checked out if it gets out of control.

Well I would say i am sanish....

But Master may not agree, perhaps we should vote on what we think others are!??

As for Dolf is she sane or not...Well what do you think?? lol :p

Oh, come on, bytor! I was really looking forward to what you were gonna say on this thread. Can't you do better than that?

I loved this answer, and totally agree.

In my world, I am normal.

I don't really give a fuck about anybody else's world. LOL.

I chose "Sane but quirky," because - at least in my world - I am sane... but I do have a few little quirks here and there... not to mention crops and canes and floggers and paddles and... oh... started to get quirked away a little there....

Ya know, I think that I should get to change my mind on this poll daily. I might not be sane tomorrow. After all I'm on a lot of steroids. . . . lol
