I'm about 5'10 1/2".... not so tall that I'm constantly bumping my head, not so short that I can't use the top shelves. I'm comfortable with it.

Yup, I've always liked my height. At 5' 7" clothes fit me without being altered for length and I can reach most things I need (except the very top shelves at the grocery store.)

My SO also had height as a requirement he was looking for so I'm glad I'm taller than average.

I measure at 5'4" + 1/2. My boyfriend is a little above 5'5" + 1/2.
We're the cutest couple - and we fit very well together.

In school I hated my height. I was taller than all the cute guys and my two best friends were 5 feet tall...I stood nine inches taller than them...it was quite noticable. I thought I had huge feet too since I'd outgrown Mom's shoes at 12...but I learned later that 8 1/2's are not big for my height.

Later on, I started modeling, mostly runway. Then I really REALLY hated my height. I had assignments every weekend and couldn't go out and enjoy my senior year, you want to be having fun with your friends. (I made up for it) I met a lot of people through it though and eventually became very comfortable with my height. I'm much happier over all with my entire body now than I was back then. It also helped with confidence...but I don't think I really lacked that much even before working the catwalk.

So I am comfortable with 5'9" and even love wearing high heels bringing me up passed six feet. The only thing I still don't care for is finding tall pants in a size 3/4 or 5/6 it isn't always available.

I'm 5'2 and it took time for me to like my height. A friend of mine who is tall use to said she was waiting for doctors to come up with a way to give me 4 inches of her height and then we could be the same. But now I like my height, I just tell everyone that dynamite comes and small packages and has a big bang! And whatever you do, DO NOT sing that short people song around me unless you want to find yourself minus various body parts

I'm comfortable with my 5'1" height. I'm a shelf climber at the store too - as well as my 4'11" daughter - I send her for the tall stuff - she loves rock wall climbing! It's also easier when I'm caneoing if I go under low branches I sometimes don't have to duck at all when the tall guys I canoe with are having to lay down in their canoes to avoid the trees!

I also love to snuggle up with a tall man - anything over 5'10" and I'm in heaven - closer to 6' is best!

I am. I'm 4'11". I'm short and compact. I love it. I don't know if it is just me. But I have always noticed people are very considerate of short people. Especially tall guys . Short people have a good sense of humor mostly. We have to. There are many short people jokes and comments. If you can't learn to laugh with them or at yourself on occasion you will end up a very miserable person.


If there was a chance I could make myself taller I would defeniatly have to pass it up. I love how I am.

Well, I am shorter than most men I see (5' 3"), but I have seen hot, short, "normal" men.

I don't know how true that is. It wouldn't bother me if a guy I was interested in was short. Hubby isn't really "tall", he's 5' 10". But if he was shorter it wouldn't matter.

Most women's preference is tall. It's understandable. If any woman had a choice, she'd want tall too. And handsome. lol.

Height has always been a non-issue for me. I'm 6'5" tall...and it just never occurs to me how "tall" someone is, since most everyone I run into is shorter than me, or at my height. Now...when I encounter someone who is obviously taller than me it catches my eye, but that doesn't happen often.

Am I comfortable with it? Sure...as I don't know any other "way".

The only thing that gets me is the 85 year old women who continually ask for me to get something off of the top shelf when I'm in a store somewhere. I mean, c'mon....I'm a nice guy and all, but I'd much rather one of you hot short women ask me.

Don't be shy. lol

I'm pretty comfortable with most of the things about myself that it would be difficult or impossible to change.

I'm 5'6". I can't imagine walking around wishing I was taller or shorter than I am.
