Thanks ! I feel really good too. It's so nice to be myself and not be "The Bad Boy" everyone wants me to be. :)
I'd rather be me than what other people want me to be. Opinions don't mean alot to me...especially when they're not thought out :)

Sorry to hear that, if you want to talk at anytime I would definately listen and try to help you, if I can. :rose:

Thanks . I will keep that in mind . :)

I think we all need abreak from ourselves sometimes, we can be who we are yet still keep so much secret and when we need a break it is then we really need to have those in our lives that we can be completely open with without fear of judgement or rejection.

Of course the only opinion we should care about is our own and those who love us, to many care to much about others who don't matter.

Isn't that the truth. I sometimes find that I hide my true self from threads and only let that side of me show in private messages or chats.

I don't think there is anything wrong in that though AD, it puts me in mind of a the difference between walking into a room naked or walking in a subtle way. There is no need to be completely open on the threads, we should all hold something back and the fact that we decide to share it in a more private way is a gift to those we do so with.

Thankyou Jail, i find that too many people worry about what others think and it really can put stress into your life that should never have been there in the first place.

I really agree with you on that one. I'm have always been a pretty open person . . . that being said . . . I just not going to blurt everything out about myself. If someone is interested in knowing anything about me . . . all they have to do is ask.

I also find that too many listen to too much gossip about others, then change their opinions without getting to know that person or those persons.

That's why I stopped caring what people care about me. the ones that are worth talking to won't hold a judgement.

I know this is gonna sound like
shit advice abner but I'm going to say it anyway.
Dont put too much faith in doctors they are fallible.
Anything going on in your body should be
able to be understood by you.
Its your body and your life
nobody should know your body better
than you.
Listen to it, it tells you more than you think.

Well i must go now but i have really enjoyed this thread, so thankyou CT. I have enjoyed talking with you all on a very interesting subject.

Hopefully i will get to know you all a bit better.

Sleep well :rose:

I believe there is a connection between people
online.
There are people online you never feel like replying to.
People you immediately feel you dislike or who are not for you.
Also people you immediatly feel a rapport with
and quickly form friendships with.
Do you think its, what they say, or their av or their bio, or all of these things?
I believe that these people are no different from the
people you would meet in real life and that you have a feeling about these people before you speak to them.

Are we all connected ?

I believe sometimes it's easier to divulge things to online friends than it is to "real life" friends. Online relationships form on a basis of intimacy that quite possibly is false. Intimacy is something that is created over time. Online relationships tend to move faster, and at times emotions seem stronger and more overpowering simply because the mode of communication is steeped in cognitive and emotive realms.

I think we can convince ourselves of anything. And sometimes we can convince others, too. I believe the final determining factor of any relationship is time: How long a relationship lasts after that initial burst of interest and intimacy is easier for me to trust than an immediate rapport. Even those with whom I've gotten along famously haven't always proven to be long-lasting friends; they've proven to be more like planets that move into my orbit on occasion, or maybe only once in a lifetime. Sometimes they've been catastrophic near-misses, other times they're nothing more than a passing star in the night: beautiful and brilliant from a distance, but full of hot air and poisonous gas on closer inspection.

That is actually very good advice. but you have to remember, for many people it's impossible to listen to what your body is telling you. So Justhope Ab can hear it!

A very profound statement, WanderingStar, and so very true too.

Thank you both. I have my lucid moments. ;)

I appreciated the question. I needed to explore the answer, if only for myself.
