As I mentioned above, the morning started fully clothed. Then - it all came off for a absolutely delightful interlude.

Then I bid adieu, put my toys and other accessories away. But then I remembered the images - how much I liked the angle I saw on screen. So I snapped some photos.

It's odd - I'm starting to think that my self-image and my actual-self are two different people.

I always considered myself self-sufficient and solitary. But I've discovered that I am actually very social. And when I'm out - there are times when I reach out to share a thought or feeling - and ugh! it's terribly frustrating that the one I want to share it with isn't there. Someday I'll figure out how I want to handle that...

I am also both solitary and social. I'm not sure how it works, but I try and balance the dichotomy every day. I suspect I get enough of what I need from friends that a relationship isn't a necessary thing for me, in terms of 'someone to share stuff with'.

And yes, this is a good opportunity to reacquaint me with myself. But sheesh - what if I'm boring? That would suck, right?

Ahhh - Things are on the upswing, V. THe early part of the year I lived up to the theme very well. Early April was a peak - filled wih love, laughter and life! Then I had to get real and address the details of my separation and divorce - a move - finances - and work. So yes - thank you for the reminder.

Even through that all there are people in my life and in my heart that see to it that I laugh, love and live - even if they aren't as near or available as i would like.

Hmm. Funny, how you stated your thread with a sad message. I can't tell weather you're looking for a feedback/comments, or straight up sympathy.

Never looking for sympathy. Ever.

That first post isn't what I originally wrote - but it is the gist. And yes - at that point in time, I was truly looking for feedback. I truly felt like I was no longer attractive to men - and, given the choices I had to make - I needed to know if there was a possibility for romance and passion in my future or not.

It may sound odd - but every day since my first post, I've offered heartfelt gratitude to the universe for the acceptance, encouragement, affirmation and connections I've found through lit.

And I repeat - never sympathy. Sympathy leaves no room for growth or learning. It's just a justification for feelings and a way to stay stuck and feel righteous about one's unfortunate situation. That's not for me.
