So, I had occasion to catch a glimpse of myself on camera yesterday.
And, while the outfit is probably as far from sexy as you can get - for some reason, I happened to like it. As I take breaks today, I'll watermark and post them.

I agree that being in a relationship is better than being alone, but being single is vastly underrated. I believe that being alone, with yourself, is the best alternative to truly getting to know you, what you deeply want. And I also believe that only a person who is happy by himself is able to enter a mature a good relationship.

Yes- posing, taking and posting photos are an indicator of my mood.
And for the new visitors - Deltha has been reading my posts for quite some time now. So yes, I have been more pensive lately. More focused on my world beyond Lit. And, really, I still am. I just couldn't resist snapping a few tame photos for the thread.
We are definitely in agreement here.
And yes, this is a good opportunity to reacquaint me with myself. But sheesh - what if I'm boring? That would suck, right?
Seriously though - I have been surprising myself lately. I don't know if it's just part of the normal growth and change that everyone goes through (I hope it's growth and not regression
!) or if I really am that "off" with how I perceive myself. But I find that I keep surprising myself. Oh well - maybe that means I'm not boring.I suspect that if I was someplace where I had roots (two places come to mind) I would hardly notice not being in a relationship. I would have friends to share experiences, adventures, love and laughter with.
And yes, I'm making friends here - but it's not the same... yet. I love the depth that history gives to relationships (romantic and otherwise). And of course the way to have history is to create it. So perhaps I should be making plans for tonight and this weekend rather than visiting Lit.
