Anyone know how long...?

Does anyone know how long it takes for a request to remove stories to be handled? I made the first request on 9/13, and I've written a few times since then to all of the email addresses (except ads@literotica.com), and the stories I need taken down are still up. Has anyone else had to have a couple of pieces removed? What was your experience with time-frame? How did you do it? I swear I've tried everything, and I haven't even gotten a reply via email.

Any information is appreciated.

Email is pretty iffy.

You can PM Laurel, post a thread, or submit a "story" called remove from archives with the names of the stories you'd like removed from the archives.

:)

Hi Tunskit!

First, I want to let you know that you have every right to remove your stories from the site at any time for any reason.

Second, if you feel comfortable doing so, I'd appreciate knowing the reason(s) for your decision (via PM or in the story submission :) ). We strive to improve Literotica ever day, and your comments can help us mend things that might need mending. We've long been working on a section of Literotica dedicated to connecting authors with publishers and others in need of their talents. This portion of the site will be available to any author who has at least one story on Literotica. Once this is in place, we hope you may decide to return a piece or two to the site.

To remove your stories, go to your account and create a story titled "REMOVE". In the body of the story, put the names of the submissions you wish removed along with (optionally) the reason for their removal.

Thanks for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks

Thank you, killermuffin, for the ideas. I see Laurel saw the post, but the idea of submitting a "story" is very clever.

Laurel, most of the stories posted have been published. BloodLust can stay up. I had forgotten I posted the others on the net last year. In fact, I'm waiting to sign a contract for one of the longer pieces that I turned into a novella. Until I can say it isn't posted elsewhere, I can't sign the contract. My editor is getting a little impatient, and it's stressing me out. :)
