Anyone in West Virginia?

You might want to go along to the school board meeting and express your displeasure.

I'm sure Charleston, WV has some wonderful qualities, but I've never witnessed any of them. It's been my least-favorite city since the first time I drove through it...mansions built with coal money line cliffs along the river and look down on what I can only describe as shanties. The air is thick and smelly. The water tastes the way it looks...it's just full of the yuck. And now this. Apparently Charleston's education system is as backwards as its environmental policies.

We never had a mother, but our father raises goats.

The grade school principal said, "You two brothers look just like our mother."

What is that supposed to mean?

They don't even get their first pair of shoes down that way until they turn 16 and marry their cousin.

High Schooler Protests ‘Slut-Shaming’ Abstinence Assembly Despite Alleged Threats From Her Principal

'Slut-shaming' at George Washington High?

(article and title from the pages of the West Virginia Gazette)

Motivational speaker frightens and shames students-

"the consequences, both physical and emotional, of sex outside of marriage,"
"if they have had any premarital sexual contact, they're "impure,"
"If you take birth control, your mother probably hates you"
"I could look at any one of you in the eyes right now and tell if you're going to be promiscuous."
"birth control makes a woman "10 times more likely to contract a disease . . . or end up sterile or dead."
"Sex could damage you for the rest of your life."
"Sex also could lead to "scarred fallopian tubes and cancer . . . and you need to ask Jesus for forgiveness."

Students respond to the motivational speaker's words-

"She doesn't like you if you're not a virgin"
"She was making girls cry. There were pregnant girls in the audience and she was implying, if you had sex, you're not an OK person,"

The motivational speaker, Pam Stenzel charges between $4,000 and $6,000 for an appearance.

She is employed by Believe in West Virginia Inc, a tax exempt, non profit

Katelyn Campbell stood up to this paid slut shamer- and now, she is seeking an injunction that would prevent her principal
from retaliating after she protested a controversial pro-abstinence speaker at a school assembly.
