Anyone here own a Jack Russell Terrier?

Thinking of getting one, and I know they require a lot of exercise.

I'm looking for responses from people who owned one, not someone's boyfriend's father's cousin's brother.

They do need exercise...very hyper dogs!

Our Jack Russell was great. No different to any other type of dog, really. Loved burrowing though, under covers, bedclothes, baggy jumpers etc

And white hairs moulting/shedding is not fun

How badly do they shed? We had a Golden Retriever that shed year round, and it was a real hassle.

Not all year round. But its just so much more noticable with white hairs. If you're gonna snuggle with it, make sure you're not wearing something you want to go out in

If Ya Wanna Muscle Him All Up, He Can Be Put On A Special Diet

Wild, Very Mouthy, And Wicked Smart, All Equaling An Ultra Stubborn Beast!

If You Have A Lot Of Time At Home, Then You Yerself Could Train Him/Her, But If Ya'll Are Working And Such, Then I Would Suggest Lessons. Unless Yer Gonna Show Him, Then You Don't Need A Show Quality Beast, So Look And Ask For Pet Quality, Or Maybe Even Go About Finding A Mix! ALOT Cheaper.....

Above ALL Else Love Him, AND SHOW US THE PICTURES!!!

Well, we have a JRT mix. She's stubborn, smart, energetic. A lot of fun too.
But she was also a rescue dog, so she's a bit mor mental than most
