I am on two medications for this stupid chest thing...One says take every six hour one says three times a day.

I took them both at 8:30 this morning when should I take them again???

I can never figure this stuff out especially when I am sick and cloudy.

Take the one every six hours, every six hours. The one you take 3 times a day, take in the morning time, lunch time, then dinner time. I sure hope you feel better soon.

Three times a day = every eight hours. (Pill B)

At 8:30AM take A & B.
At 2:30PM take A.
At 4:30PM take B.
At 8:30PM take A.
At 12:30AM take B.
At 2:30AM take A.

Hi Kitte...
I haven't read the other responses... but being a nurse, I can answer some of them anyway... If you are taking an antibiotic, it is best to take it evenly over a 24 hour period to keep a constant level amount in your bloodstream. If you are taking an antibiotic, you can try it at 10 at night, 6 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. That is a doable type of regimen. If the other says every 6 hours, you can do it at a 6 - 12- 6 - 12 schedule. Actually, that one kind of sucks, so if I were you, I'd go to a 6:30a.m. - 12 noon - 5:30 p.m. then just right before you go to sleep.
