Anyone from the UK?

This the uk thread Cogan ;) but maybe I’ll allow you to stay if you can cook a good enough British Sunday Roast?
I know, and I've been in and out of here for a while.
A Sunday roast you say? I love to cook but I've never done Yorkshire pudding, witch is a important zubehör. :giggle: I've tried it several years ago in London (1981) and only remember that I liked it. Other than that I think I'd manage to make a Sunday roast. 😋

Home at last. 8 bloody hours on the autobahn and my house is like a tropical hothouse.
Autobahn can be a pain in the ass. No limit speed but some days the average speed is not more than 50 km/h.
My slowest personal record is 24 km in 4 hours. It was the summer of 1993. They rebuild the Autobahn between Berlin and Leipzig. Roadworks and then some accidents on top of that didn't speed up the traffic.

Yikes.

I was on that stretch of motorway today too. I should have left earlier but I could not resist meeting an old schoolfriend for coffee before I started the long journey home.

and so to bed, wherein I dream of sticky toffee pudding....

that sounds either bad or amazing. You can decide which :D

Seems I missed a lot tonight. Are we off to SpiceyBean for Sunday roast next week?

Did anyone mention crackling? It’s a must have. Even with chicken.
I heard I’m hosting. I think I’ll choose @Foxed to co host with me? jonno I think you’ll make a great bar man? And we can all eat and get merry together!

I have half a mind to start a “Sunday Roast” thread… and call it “Roast Off” 🤣
