Have a safe journey!Afternoon people.
Sore head today. Sunglasses on. 1 too many proseccos last night. Currently on the m40 from Birmingham and grateful as fuck for the WIND we have today. That 30 degree sun can go back to whence it came and come back with a little less humidity thankyouuuu very much!
Oh man I haven’t made that in agesQuestion is what meat and what veggies? Full shebang? I would KILL for a roast inside a Yorkshire pudding….
Fact of the day…Just remember back in March you lot wanted heat and the sun....
Careful what you wish for...
In the next eight years 30 degrees will be the average temperature in the Londinium area. Enjoy...Fact of the day…
since our sun coms from northern African and Spain; when it travels over the seas it picks up a HELL of a lot of moisture…by the time it actually gets too us we’re in the low 30s… but here’s the catch… 90-96% humidity. Aaand at that level of humidity it’s super hard for our bodies to regulate their own temperature. You cool down by sweating…(duhhh) but in this temp/humidity the sweat can’t evaporate, soooo you basically just can’t cool down! Oh and also most of our houses especially in London are build with clay bricks which keep heat in so inside it’s doubly as hot. It doesn’t really cool down over night. If anyone abroad has ever come to the uk during our 30 degree heat sun waves you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Our country isn’t built for this type of hot weather.
The extremely high humidity and the constant wind are the biggest challenge because it completely modifies the feeling of the temperature(heat and cold as well).Fact of the day…

I won two big lumps of rump in the pub meat raffle. So I had one last night with mushrooms, pepper sauce, tomato and mozzarella salad with dressing, boiled potatoes, and poached egg.
The second one I’m having today with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli and peas.
I actually slow cook the meat with the mushrooms, onion, garlic, and chilli, and make a red wine gravy with the juices.
The dinner is ready...
That's the sexiest thing anyone's ever posted on Lit

That looks delicious other than that yucky green stuff.Pps. I don’t randomly keep pics of my supper. My wife is away and asked what I cooked with my winnings![]()
