Totally not elitist! Easy to make! I had fresh basil. Mister Man bought *pink* lemonade (*shudder * - ok, visually it needed work) and vodka and I let the basil marinade in the vodka for a bit before serving. Fabulous!
I don't know why you drink chardonnay, yanks. I really can't fathom why anyone would do such a thing.

It beats the hell out of chablis.
I seriously do not "get" the concept of flavored booze. Yes, once in a while I have a margarita and I do enjoy a well-made gin and tonic. But the vast majority of the time, the only thing I combine with my booze is a few drops of water in my scotch. Virtually all manufactured drinks make me shudder.

Yeah, I really have to get better at this. My acct is a whiz, and we're getting together with him monday in the interim I filed an extension and I'm shitting a brick at what I think I'm gonna owe.
God this is the one time of the year I miss having a job for some other idiot than me!
I'm not gonna drink. I'll save it for tomorrow and all the parties I have to show up at this MN fashion weekend.

I'm on the cusp of wanting/needing an accountant but I'm also about to simplify my business model so maybe I can hold off a few more years. I use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and it seems to suffice pretty well. I guess I'm just one of those effete, elite Eastern rugged individualists.
I hope you plan on telling stories about the fashion weekend.

Hopefully I will have some quaint ones. This is a study in getting out and re-learning to flirt and work a room a little, as the person who will undeniably be the fat chick in a roomful of size 0-6 ultra swans. I'm a little intimidated.
I need to learn better stuff around books and records period. Not doing too bad for someone with NO help - no family model, no education in it, one very leaned-on mentor and that's it. Considering that I'm an artist and my work space is basically a giant pile of filth from which beautiful things emerge.
