Anyone for a nightcap?

Ya like them buns do ya? :p

:D
I like buns. A lot.

Never seen 'your" buns. though... I think its time for a MWY AmPic thread....

However you still confuse me when I don't see Spence. I really refer Spencer over buns.

I'm funny that way...

And you have now made me think about other buns that I wish to...well, I wish to, is all....

And I want those other buns beside me right now.

George Clooney just called to say that he's late and that I should keep you company tonight. He sends his deepest regrets. ;)

Since George was late, and I hadn't seen your message yet, MWY, I gave into Hugh Jackman's persistent requests for my company. I must say that a good time was had by all. :D

Yeah, that's cause George is with me.

Rawr!

Keroin, Keroin...I thought you were my friend... :(

Sorry.....I would have passed his message along sooner, my dear, but I was detained by a fawning Minnie Driver. Who knew she was such a greedy spanking slut?

But I'm glad you helped out young Mr. Jackman. I hope you left him with at least some small ability to function. ;)

Met her in Bermuda, and she spoke very highly of you...

Ummm....function?
I mean, he could talk when he left. That's pretty much all I look for.
That, and eyes alert enough to drive a bit.

So, coming out from the dark ages...I have recently learned that some might consider me a "cougar" at times. I don't think I like the sound of that.
And I don't think I look (or even act) like one. The stereotype, anyway... I am honestly "age agnostic," for lack of a better term. Although there is such a thing as too young. Or too old for that matter, but I haven't run into that one yet. :p

Happy to hear that you and Ms Driver connected so well. Tell us more?

~LB

p.s. I did make sure young Hugh was fed and watered too...

LB, not to worry about George. I did you a favour, actually, he wasn't that good. Sure he's attractive and funny and has a nice body and a smoldering charm but besides that...oh, who am I kidding, he was amazing!

Sorry. I am a shameless hussy.

Oh and BTW, I happily embraced my cougarhood years ago. Cougars are purrrfectly dangerous. Fly the Coug flag high!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

And this is supposed to make me feel better?

On the other hand, Hugh can sing and dance, in addition to his many other charms... I don't think George can...well, never mind...

Can we start a secret Cougar thread so I can at least know what I am supposed to be doing?

Pinot Grigio (as usual) and cheap chocolate.

I have to say the Cougarness thing confuses me... as does the MILFness thing.

*goes back to drinking wine and looking for cast iron beds*

No offense to WD, but sweet.jeebus. no.

The roomie and I are moving next week, and I decided to be hellaciously frivolous (for me), and spend my savings on furniture I love. Because my new room is a finished sun porch in a turn of the century farmhouse with 10' ceilings and hand scraped oak hardwoods. Two-three blocks from the playground, the train station (to the museums/zoos), the antique shops, the community theater and the farmers market.

I picked up a 1930s waterfall vanity and chair off CraigsList for $50 last week, finalized the deal for a '30s double armoir this morning (burled walnut veneer -$135 and the thing is HUGE... which is good because my room has no closets and I can dedicate one side to my ever growing vintage lingerie collection [peignoir set #6 is in the works], and the other to modern clothing), and now I just want to find a cast iron bed and a few other things... if I arrange things properly, I might even have space for a sitting area.

I've been antique window shopping for weeks... I'd forgotten how much I enjoy wandering.

:)

Man! that sounds awsome! I'll be moving soon, and I hope to be able to do the same thing ~ enjoy my penchant for antiques...oh, and buy new stuff for the place...

Oh CM, this sounds lovely...both the house and the furniture. I have to run out now for the evening, but I want to know more...

Ms. Mouse, I have an iron bed suggestion for you.

Sipping some Rosemount Shiraz.

Has anyone else noticed how frisky certain persons have been lately?

;)

Yes. I've definitely noticed an increased friskiness from "certain persons".

BTW, I used my non-expired yeast and made pita bread and English muffins. The pitas turned out fabulously. The muffins...well...they are slightly less dense than a hockey puck but only slightly. I'm eating them anyway, that's how desperate I am. (I took photos of me baking because I know the folks back home will never believe me).

Your new digs and furniture sound delightful! Congrats.
