anyone else played command&conquer: generals?

hahaha my boyfriend LOVES all of those games, he has em all. He got Generals and is almost done beating it.

I have C&C:Generals...didn't care for it too much though.

It's a completely fictional game, so I don't think the Baghdad level was very non-PC. Mainly because there are three factions, not just two...and it's not the USA.

tbh, I just started laughing when that first usa level came up, as did my housemate.

Actually, you're right about the US. I just loaded it up and played the first level again and was surprised. Never really paid attention to it being the US. But the GLA, quite a fictional opponent. LOL

I obviously noticed it more because older versions (Red Alert 1 & 2) have inlcuded a British option as part of the allies.

Fictious enemies :D Suicide bombers, RPG's, Anthrax, SCUDs, Hijackers.

Yes, very ficticous :D

Hell, there are already numerous mods in the works for Unreal/Unreal2 based on the war. I bet they'll set some records for downloads.

I just purchased an oldie: "Age of Empires II: Gold Edition". Excellent.

If you like AOEII, you really should try Empire Earth and/or Age of Mythology. Two very good games as well.
