Any women like to be compared to their friends?

I ran across this one time where this girl wanted to be told how much hotter her friends were than she was so she she sent me a few group shots and admittedly they were much hotter than she was although I wouldn't say she was ugly. I really didn't know what to say because I felt like a dick saying anything bad about her or that she was right, her friends were much hotter. Anyway I was honest, "the girl in the red dress has a gorgeous face" and she'd come back with, "yeah, she's so hot, a major slut though she'll swallow any guys load" so things kinda went on like that and when I gave her compliments on her features she'd say something degrading about herself. Didn't know if anyone else has ever come across this or if any other women are into it? Just curious if this is more common than I think.

I think every women likes being told they are beautiful by the person they are with to a certain extent, and some of us like thinking that the guy we are with thinks that we're the hotest, most beautiful woman in the world .

My wife and I never compare her to her friends -- because she's absolutely the hottest -- but she loves hearing what I think about girls outside our circle of friends.

In fact, I snapped a photo of a really pretty girl last weekend and the only place I sent that picture was to my wife.

Not to hijack the thread but I have a friend who always does that shit. Will forward pics of different girls and ask if I think they are hot. I always reply they are nice looking but can't hold an candle to Miss X. I also have a female friend who would do look down on her looks. Personally I felt my female friend was way better looking then those women she would point out.

I always LOVE your guesses...usually because you've put a LOT of thought into it and obsessive thinking is teh sex...

I'm gonna guess because guys have a tendency to want to see how they "measure up" literally, where woman have more subjective standards to meet. I mean aside from some fetish-y aspects of say a larger than text-book clit, its hard for a woman to exactly quantify sexuality by the inch.
