I know some very funny ones in real life, but they don't seem to be able to transfer to a stand-up stage. Hell, if I had to pick one who has an online show with popularity would be Nick Fuentes.

I can't think of any, and I'm not one who would shy away from an artist's work, no matter what they do in their private life. Someone brought this up in conversation, and I thought I'd give it more time, but I can't think of any. I also can't think of any centrists. Maybe it's just me, but it seems radicals are the best.

-Mort Sahl
-Bill Hicks
-George Carlin
-Dick Gregory
-Professor Irwin Corey

Great 2 minutes of political satire on The Smothers Brothers Show (another left-of-center who were canceled for being anti-war, which is the worst crime of them all) and this was actually the last show, because they took it off the air. I also have video of Bob Hope supporting this. When Mort Sahl challenged him, Hope couldn't name anything, but said, "It just felt like they were against the country"

Joe Rogan took his MAGA stand up show on the road but I don't find anything he says amusing or interesting.

I tried watching one and it was horrible. He's only given a chance because he has such a huge audience from his interview show so if even 5% like it, he'll make a good living out of it. And kudos for him starting a stand-up club -- we can't have enough of them I think, and one thing this country needs is laughter.. I don't watch, but I have, but I also never understood the extreme hate/love for the guy. To say he's better than the average interviewer is like being the smartest bear in the zoo.

I never thought of art chronologically until I was about 18. I had been renting random movies from Blockbuster, and usually leaned to New Releases (not sure why), and then got a Rewards Membership, and realized all my favorites were from before my time. Music, Stand-Up, although I have seen some good stand-up live personally.

Wait. Nick Fuentes is a comedian???

No, that's my point.. He berates his audience, and it's the only time I've laughed aloud in a year. It's hard to laugh at comedians I know by heart. I also laugh when he goes berserk in general. The media kept mentioning him and his dinner with Donald Trump that I finally checked him out.

Standups must work with the crowds who go to comedy clubs. I never did that. I didn't see much appeal for the high ticket prices.

Try that trump guy, plays to large audiences and has them crying over every line.

You see? That's not funny. Not even a little.

There should be funny RW comics or cartoonists or humorists -- liberals and leftists, being fallible humans, do sometimes do or say ridiculous things -- but for some reason, nobody on the right ever has the comedic talent to successfully exploit such potential material.

You must have missed Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football. :)
Dennis Miller was never funny, not even on SNL.

Neither was Victoria Jackson.

P.J. O'Rourke showed signs of talent once, but he has not been very funny since his National Lampoon days.

Mallard Fillmore was never funny. RW cartoonist Rodriguez is never funny.

Why is that?!

If Trump were the star of some dystopian TV series, he'd be hilarious. I mean, who wouldn't want to tune in next week to see what incredibly stupid or offensive (or both) thing he did next, and see just how many logical acrobatics his supporters would put themselves through to rationalize it this time?

But in real life? I can't think of any, and I can tell you why: they always base their "humor" on bigotry, or at least on punching down. Nothing funny about that.

I have seen Rogan's stand up "comedy". He needs to stick to announcing MMA and doing magic honey
