I saw this on a toy website and wanted to know if anyone tried it? What did you think. Was it worth it?

This weird looking little piece of plastic is specially designed to stimulate the prostate and the perineum. Obviously everyone's reaction to it will be slightly different, but many men say that by using it they can achieve an amazing orgasm without even touching their penis. Our tester could barely speak when it first slipped in, and after a very satisfying experience, said that it really has to be tried to be believed. By the way, our tester is very experienced with butt-play, but he felt that this toy could be used by even butt-play beginners. 1" in diameter at the widest point; about 3-3/4" insertable length.
Instructions on use are included with the product, but for those of you looking at the picture and pondering just how this works, here are the basics: The wider paddle part toward the bottom right of the photo is the "perineum abutment" which is meant to press firmly against the perineum (the area between your anus and your balls) when the main body of the toy is inserted. When slipped inside, the curve of the main body should point toward your belly and the curly handle (lower left in the photo) should be pointing up between your butt cheeks, curling away from your back.
Please note that this is not an "instant orgasm machine." Some men find it works for them quite quickly, but others need to take their time to learn how to relax and use it just right. And really, if giving yourself wonderful orgasms isn't worth investing a little time in, what is?

From the makers of the Aneros comes the amazing "New Generation" line of prostate stimulating, butt-plug resembling, funny looking plastic doo-hickies. The Aneros Maximus is the not only bigger, it is also a bit of a different shape than the original Aneros MGX. Before you rush off to your telephones and email accounts to ask us which one would fit better in your/ your lover's/ your grandfather-in-law's tush, our testers have toiled restlessly to chart out the differences between these models so you can make a reasonable choice for your bottom in question. (Of course, if you still have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Its just that you know your own ass so much better than we do.)
True to its name, the Maximus is the largest of the stimulators made by Aneros and the sensation it provides is universally described by the Blowfishies as "a fuller experience." The diameter at the tip of this toy is 1-1/16" before swooping down into a jellybean-esk curve and plumping into the second bulb with a diameter of 1-1/8". It has an insertable length of 3-3/4" and a stem diameter (that's the part that emerges from the body when the toy is in place) of 1/2". Unlike the ribbed base on the MGX, the stem is smooth on the Maximus.
By means of comparison, the folks at Aneros tell us that the Maximus is designed for more "advanced users." Due to the more bulbous shape of the head and the increased volume overall, this model does not move around as much inside of the rectum. While it seems that more toy would equal more pressure meaning bigger orgasms, that is not necessarily the case. The Aneros toy is designed to be a "hands-free" device that, once inserted, squeezing the abdominal muscles and sphincter will cause the toy to move and massage various points on the prostate and perineum. A bigger toy moving less freely will massage less and press more than a smaller one. The lack of ribbing on the base makes the stem harder for the anus to grip on to, also contributing to less motion overall. Thus, mastering your hula-hoop type motions on the smaller model might better prepare you for using the Maximus more effectively.
Also, while the MGX has a more tapered head causing it to almost leap into your butt when you press it in, the Maximus goes in a little more slowly. While some testers say these toys feel more or less the same once they are inserted, others swear that they feel as different as different could be and can spell out the highlights of each down to specific places on the prostate getting more attention and a particular "cuddling" of the interior anal walls. But heck, even our female tester loved using this toy as a butt plug and she doesn't even have a prostate!
SweetErika said:There have been quite a few threads on the Aneros in How To specifically, so I'd suggest doing an advanced title search for 'Aneros' for all dates to find what others have said.
From what I recall though, it's gotten mixed reviews here. Some have reported they loved it, but quite a few felt it was an overpriced device and its results could be replicated, if not improved, with quite a few other prostate and g-spot toys. It didn't work at all for others, even after they spent a long time following the instructions carefully.
We use several things for prostate stimulation, but Hubby's favorite is the Hitachi Magic Wand with either the straight or g-spot (which works alone, too) attachment on it. He finds the vibration makes this type of play a lot more pleasureable and intense overall.
Search and check "The Blank Manual" sticky in How To before starting a thread because there's lots of good info here already.RustingAway said:I guess maybe i should start a new thread then, What is the best toy for prostate pleasure? I guess i want something that will do the job. I've used the standard Vibrators and fingers. I'm not sure if i fully experience the pleasure. I am unable to get my wife into the spirit of well..... so i am solo.

I haven't had any mind blowing orgasms from it alone and haven't tried since the first time. But masturbating with it inside is just incredible. I'm curious if any women have tried it and how it would feel to them.

i do like my butt plugs though.
