There's a economist named Phillips who wrote a paper which followed this inane idea in which he claimed that increasing inflation eventually resulted in the elimination of poverty. It's called the Phillips equation, if I remember correctly.

The idea works but only if you don't consider the ultimate end result whereby everyone lives in poverty with no hope of ever getting out.

This is the same lack of thinking at issue with those who advocate eliminating all guns (and cars). One the surface it appears to be a simple solution but the reality is that all it does is lead to a "poverty of freedom." While it may look like we all have the same rights, the truth is that no one has any rights at all. This is what anti-gun (and car) idiots are advocating for.


There's an attribution to Einstein where he says something to the effect that WW1 was fought with horses and guns, WW2 will be fought with bombs and missiles, and WW3 will be fought with sticks and stones. Ninnygirl wants us to get to the sticks and stones part faster than Fate's timeline decrees. The only reason I can think she'd want this is because; (A) she's insane; or, (B) she thinks that somehow she'll come out on top after the smoke clears. Except there won't be anyone left when all is said and done.

Building cities where people are forced to drive to get around is not “freedom”. Neither is creating a society where people don’t feel safe without a gun.

A heavily-armed populace driving everywhere is so 20th Century. The 21st Century will be gun control, trains, and bicycles.

So far progressives and D's are on track to making sure the latter is the only option.

Health care is non-existent unless you are wealthy enough to afford it and even then your options are limited- particularly for pregnant women.
With no social safety network, food grows scarce for low income people, as jobs and wages shrink dramatically.
Riots are ruthlessly suppressed.
Voting is heavily restricted and even then, the government has the exclusive right to over-turn election results that are unfavorable (on the basis of "Fraud") and frequently do so. Leading to more riots and even more brutal repression.

This is the promise of the future you so desparately desire. This is what you WANT!

Guess what. Most of us don't.

I think most of us would rather live in caves. At least then we would still be free.

The one thing you’re missing, is the fact that most of these MAGAts are old, and know they won’t be around to witness the results of their votes / choices / actions.

They can claim that climate change is a hoax, that the proliferation of assault rifles, large capacity magazines, etc in the hands of the public is not dangerous, and that social disparities due to race, gender, and sexual orientation, are not a problem, because they know they won’t be around to witness the ultimate death and suffering caused by a failure to address those issues.

When the old MAGAts are dead, everything will truly be “out of sight, out of mind”.

OTOH, regulations and rules are required to ensure that we can all live together in peace while we pursue happiness. Those regulations must be applicable to everyone or they are unfair. Which highlights that your words to the contrary are lies.

Society has deemed that children not be exposed to adult materials. This is not "censorship," it is a societal regulation designed to protect the vulnerable from those who would prey upon them. Saying otherwise is a lie and deceitful.

The rest of your blather is equal to the above. Abortion is LEGAL in all 50 states IF the criteria for getting an abortion is met. As for outlawing "ALL birth control" this is an issue which has already been decided by SCOTUS and a state cannot undo that. So again, you engage in lies and deceit in order to spread a false message.
