Didn't think you could have a Lit account if you were under age (at least in theory)
So if it was someone with a PM address then wouldn't that mean it had to be someone at least posing as an adult?
Also, wouldn't it be in the 'sent' folder so you'd know exactly where it went?

I think it was supposed to go to someone they knew from Lit through their personal e-mail account. Or at least that is how I read it. I am usually mistaken though. They should also be able to see where they sent it through their sent email folder anyway. So who knows.

I think they sent it via PM to the wrong Lit member, at least that's how I read it. I bet the VAST majority of lit accounts are inactive, so probably nobody ever saw it. Bummer.

I read it as an email through a private acct, but could be wrong. I would never assume everyone on Lit is over 18, even though that's the rules. MarcelinetheVampireQueen was caught a few months back, and she was VERY underage with an AmPics thread.

Have you considered she may be a baker and her real life IS cake and LIT is the one place she can escape from it. Or maybe she had a childhood trauma regarding cake and now is cakeaphobic. I had a similar experience with flan, but with time, I've channeled that fear into lust. I certainly get caught off guard when I wander onto a thread expecting a cockatar and get a German chocolate cream puff. But I don't let it break my rhythm at all.
