The way I see it - there are probably as many reasons for being here (or someplace like here) as there are people here. We have no way of knowing what brings each person here, the situation they're living or existing in, or whether their being here is even an issue for the spouse.

Even worse, we also don't know how safe anybody is at home. Women aren't the only victims of domestic violence. I'd hate having to live with my conscience if I knew someone was assaulted or worse because I couldn't resist a little harmless "mischief."

I've got enough of my own issues to worry about to think I'm qualified to play the fidelity police in someone else's marriage. It's not my job to approve of anybody else's decisions. It's my job to make my own decisions that I can live with.

Most confessions are sweet, put a smile on my face. Some are about serious matters, then I would like to send the person in question a PM with encouragements, or I would like to be able to offer some form of solace.

I can't, so I don't. I don't even comment on the thread.

But this confession... It made me angry.
I ask myself how contorted someones personality must be to even think about exposing someone. What does the person in question get from exposing the others? Does the person do it out some contorted feeling for what is right and wrong?
Does it give her/him some kind of satisfaction?
Does the person in question get a kick out of creating a hell for someone?

I suppose so, what else could be the reason someone would do a thing like this again and again?
