I would like to ask for prayers for these things:

School shootings, the end of them
How a minor can easily purchase a gun/bullets if they have money at different venues
The survivors witnessing such horror
Children across the country banding together to protest gun violence in schools
Calamities involving gun violence
(I believe in the second amendment, but it's improper use)
The bridge collapsed of yesterday in Florida
Innocent victims of police brutality, inclusive of especially all non-caucasion races (because there is a clearly seen problem)
Our legal system that separates hate crimes from acts of terrorism when they are the same
The state of our nation, from an inside and outside view
How quick it is to become a citizen at birth rather than applying for citizenship
(I am not against those becoming citizens, but how to become one FROM BIRTH when we aren't granted the same privileges in their country from birth)
Healthcare that is concerned about keeping me healthy than the profit they earn
A way to keep American businesses alive and thriving WITHIN the U.S.

I'm so glad this thread showed up today. Please pray for a missing 5 year old autistic boy. He's been missing since early this morning. He's non verbal and probably scared so he won't answer and he may hide from the searchers. His name is Joe. I can't imagine what his family is going through.

I'm praying for special friends here who may be going through trials and tribulations with health issues, situations, circumstances and anything that may hinder them from being in a state of and enjoying what happiness truly is.

The little boy mentioned earlier in KarenB59's post is in my thoughts and prayers as well.

For all those who are in need, the state of our nation, for those in a position of authority with the capability of creating changes and the youth who are committed to establishing these changes, prayers are being sent.

I only just got to know Matt a little a while back when somebody had hurt a mutual friend, and we PMed a bit, so I didn't know him nearly as well as many people here. The news is devastating, and I will miss that funny, charming guy...

Sending a prayer out for him, that his days are serene, that he is at peace with himself, and that medical breakthroughs come quickly.

Dear Heavenly Father?

I am praying for Jenny tonight.

Praying that the Lord holds you tightly as you walk through this season. I am, right now, asking God for wisdom as you make the choices and decisions you need to. I pray that you find peace as this trial inflicts itself upon you. I am praying that God reminds you often how loved you are and what a blessing you are to Him. I pray that regardless of this trial, that God will be glorified and that you will be able to share all of the beautiful things to come out of this. May God bless you richly and heal this trial. Hi Jenny...I know we all joke around on the threads, etc. but you are in my prayers-here's to an end to your struggle or at least an easier way through.
