You folks may understand this story, then. I wrote it after reading far too many of the kind of feedbacks you talk about here. So far, it appears that most of the people who have read it don't "get it." I wanted to try to write a story that sort of showed what kind of story you'd end up with if you aimed to address the things these folks talk about in the manner in which they think they want them.
