An Interesting Thing On What Men and Women Notice

Women usually notice when a man's being played. Women can usually notice when a man is falling for bullshit.

Men usually know when a man is playing a woman. They can see through motivations and decipher intent, usually more so than the women involved.

I think women may sit back and roll their eyes at what men are falling for. I'm sure men probably do the same. It's interesting to watch and observe.

Interestingly enough, or not, I can usually tell when men are playing women more than women playing men. Perhaps because I was such a tomboy and most of my friends growing up were male. I never have really understood my own gender. I usually assume all people have an angle, and go with the flow until I figure out what it is. Yikes, that is rather cynical of me.

I don't think gender has much to do with it, rather we notice things because we are standing outside looking in ... we are more likely to catch the tricks.... just my observation.

I think pretty much everybody feels this way. I know I do. And it doesn't help that when it's all said and done, the embarassment of having been played layers on top of the emotional hurt we go through as a result of it. Involvement always makes things more difficult. Sad, but true...
