was killed. The United States used to be the type of country where you didn't even THINK about killing our Ambassador. No matter what your grievances, our Ambassador was "hands off". In my opinion, this administration's foreign policy has emboldened our enemies to grotesque levels. The most recent instance is being swept under the rug for political expediency. That man was there for peaceful purposes.

So we should vote for Romney who's policy is exactly the same.

All countries diplomatic personnel are supposed to be hands off. There should be more international outrage. The entire system of international diplomacy could break down by this kind of thing if there is no response to this.

If it happened in Canada it might be the sign of a real problem. It's not like the US is randomly blowing Muslim people up...

And?

Where is the rest of your post?

A punchline should be in there somewhere.

The ambassador was not killed by another country. He was killed by criminals. It's a sad state of affairs that Libya as well as the US failed to keep the diplomatic personell safe from those criminals. But that could likewise be said if they were military, civilian contractors of even tourists. But if you expect and believe that criminals respect the sanctity of diplomats, you're a moron.

The appropriate response to this is to identify, find, arrest and convict said criminals for the murders, probably under charges of acts of terrorism. Which by the way is what is happening. Not to full satisfaction since the Libyan law enforcment isn't exactly up to snuff, with that recently ended civil war and all, but several of the pepole behind the attack has been caught. Latest bunch in Jordan.

Don't call me a moron, asshole. You don't even believe your own bullshit.

Oh Lord, looks like we have us another TRUE BELIEVER here.

Don't forget to switch to your tinfoil hat with ear flaps tonight when you set your clocks back. The nights are getting colder.

I didn't call you a moron. I said that if you (or rather renard, whom I was replying to.. but it appiles to everyone) expect and believe that criminals respect the sanctity of diplomats, you're a moron.

Do you expect and believe that criminals respect the sanctity of diplomats?

Yes or no.

Who do you kill, if you don't know who did it?

The Libyan government, that we supported? Any convenient civilians?

US Presidents have been assassinated in the past. Did the US government take revenge, or find the criminals responsible?

No. I do not expect or believe that criminals respect the sanctity of diplomats.

Yes or no.

Easy. Yes, of course they do.

Here's another question - why wasn't Manhattan hurricane-proofed?

Yeah, because the previous administrations foreign policy completely deterred your enemies didn't it? Didn't it??? Or not?

Woof!

“Round ‘em all up, put ‘em in a field and bomb the bastards!”

Woof!

Yes or no.
Certainly. Do you have any reason to believe they don't?

That they in this instance failed to ensure their safety is an entirely different thing.
