In Germany, the police can actually beat you within an inch of your life for raising a hand to them or throw you in prison for calling somebody a Nazi in a derogatory fashion. Here, if a cop pulls out a taser the country goes up in arms and the officer is placed on a leave with no pay.

In more than a few Asian and South American countries, if you're pulled over for DUI and fail the sobriety test, they execute you on the spot.

I do wish I could afford to travel, tho. The internet has given me friends all over the world. I'd love to visit them, but there are some places I would just never go. Places that are so bad people are fleeing to the US (which I mist admit, I certainly think can be improved, as a pansexual, poor, person of color) and specifically, to my area of the US. If where you're from sucks so bad that you would come to Ky as an improvement, then the place you're from fucking sucks. I've personally known people from Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, and China, who will vouch that the places they are from fucking suck. But I've also met people from Australia, Norway, England, Japan, and Romania, who are only here because they were at my college to study something local, like our geology, and couldn't wait to get back home. Because of how bad it sucked here.
