Antonin Scalia makes a good point when he observes that government has a different set of standards than people have.
But the bottomline is: If youre gay or female or a child or whatever, where do you fare best? In America, Britain, France, Australia or Saudi Arabia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Iran? I'll take my chances in the West, regardless of how al Qaeda feels about Europeans & Americans.
