Am I allowed to write about this in a story?

I want to write a story that includes spanking. My partner and I have been together for 30 years so that's not the issue. My particular interest in being spanked goes all the way back to my childhood when I was snooping around my grandmother's house and found a paddle in a dresser drawer one day. My grandmother never spanked me or even knew I found it, but I always wondered what it would have felt like. I carried that curiosity all the way into adulthood and have just now told my partner about it.

Is that type of content allowed? Thanks for taking time to answer my question.

I don't know why you think that having a partner for 30 years is required to write about spanking

Joking aside, you can write how you wondered about your grandma spanking you as a kid or that she even spanked you as a kid as long as it is not presented as sexual in any way. It's a fine line you need to thread. You can write how she spanked you as punishment but you can't write about any details, we can't see your naked kid butt, we can't know how it made you feel sexually, or anything like that. When you write about your present self you can let your imagination run free as it will be about two adult people.
