Ha! I'd forgotten about the owls. I can understand them being awake in the daylight due to the extreme shortness and lightness of the nights. Otherwise they might not have enough time to hunt and eat. But they always seemed so groggy, like they were suffering from caffeine mismanagement or something.

Maybe we need to organize a charity to provide them with sunglasses
