No, I see it now. They don't have a Favorites list, just lists of stories where they rate the author. And "Wager" doesn't actually appear on any of the lists, probably because of how slow some kinds of updates are on Literotica. I wonder which list they put me on.

I believe we've been added to their reading list it used to be on their list of lists but isn't since they reordered their list (which I'd like to thank them for. The out of order list really bugged me.)

You can also have a private list. I don't know if that shows up as a favorite, but I think it does.

Somebody downvoted the story twice in the last couple of hours, too. Hmm ....

Shame that's not where they post their reviews. Can you imagine the comments? :ROFLMAO:

BTW I enjoyed your story :)
Honestly, some of those criticisms are valid. I did overplay the vision thing, for instance.

The criticisms are just expressed so cruelly and arrogantly that they end up parodying themselves.

I would say you overplayed the explanation of the vision thing, but not necessarily the vision thing. I've spent time with a friend who had to forgo her glasses for a few days and the observations of what she could/couldn't see align with Maureen's, but I didn't need the reminders re the reason she couldn't see (if that makes sense?) Just my opinion.

I had no issue with the chosen style for the dialogue/internal thought formatting, though it was not necessarily the most common convention for this site.

I would say people have different goals when they post stories here. From whacking up a first draft as they want to share their own fantasies, to placing well crafted pieces of prose that they have worked hard on and consider a serious attempt at writing... I don't feel Lit is really the place for such critiques to be placed in comments unasked for, especially when expressed so cruelly and arrogantly.

I think you just explained what I was thinking better than I did.

I have terrible vision, uncorrected. That's one thing I have in common with Maureen. In real life, I always have a spare set of glasses within range.

I've been trying different formats for that. I had italics for thoughts in other stories. The Writing Group in general is using Literotica to experiment, and this is certainly part of that project.

To be fair, I did ask for feedback, repeatedly. You'll notice I'm not angry or upset. Stacnash's response wasn't useless to me, it was just pointlessly mean (in my opinion).

I will say, @Katie_Mae, that your feedback right up above was more pleasant to read and useful to me.
