If mushrooms had peckers and could open pickle jars, I'd happily marry one. :cathappy:

Club soda spew! :D

Mushrooms may not have peckers, but every pecker has a mushroom cap. ;)

Oh, I can't fight the temptation to post pics any longer. Here was tonights dinner (roasted veggie and crab spinach salad topped with toasted almonds:)

Only a couple more pounds to go! :nana:

For you, I would be willing to make many exceptions.

*great big smile!*

Mmmmmmmmmmmm do any of those exceptions include something truly wicked in a weight room

Awww... thank you, thank you! The dressing needs a little work, but luckily you can't see that part. ;)

Hope you had a wonderful birthday!

I did, thanks! For lunch we had roasted goat with a choice of rice as a sidedish or fricasee (sp?). I can't remember what we had for dinner, all I remember was the cake. It wasn't the best cake I've tasted, but I liked the fact that it had fruit on top. Cherries and pineapple slices. Nice. ;)

So, where are the pics? :D

I'm not big on desserts, so I gave my cherry away quite some time ago. :D :D

when I was cleaning out my email box I found this quote sent to me by my mom

author unknown

Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut the bitch up with cookies.

Workout Story

I'm impressed with the good motivation on this thread!

I am writing a multi-part story that may be of interest to you. "Workout Incentive" is about a couple who accidentally discover home gym workouts as a springboard to rekindle their sex life. Chapter 1 has been posted here:

*blows away accumulated dust*

All that swimming has paid off! I lost weight while on vacation. I haven't checked yet too see exactly how much I lost, but it's definitely noticeable in the mirror.

:nana: :nana: :nana:

Now if only I can keep this going...

Somebody make a bet with me and maybe I can lose the rest of my weight. I have 28lbs to go and its not being friendly about coming off. If you need motivation.... I'm there. Oh, btw my swimming instructor at school told me if I wanted to lose weight that swimming was not a good exercise to start with. Unless you do the breast or butterfly stroke. The water is cold and the fat stays on your body to keep in warm. Kinda like penguins and walruses. But you can use it to maintain. Starting to lose weight... start with eating 3 squares a day.

Thanks for the offer. :)

I'm back home now. No more sea, so the lack of effectiveness for swimming is no longer an issue. Now that I'm back, I'm planning to return to my belly dancing, yoga and... *dramatic music*

Budukon! :D

Nah, you don't need a bet. You can make it happen on your own. :rose:

*makes walrus noises, shuffles away* :p

These Pipes Are CLEAN!!!

~ Quote from the movie Cabin Boy.

Yesterday I was out grocery shopping, and I went to the "goodies" section to see if I wanted anything of the chocolate variety. There was no reaction whatsoever. I looked at all the pretty boxes and wrappers that contained milk chocolate (my favorite), but the urge was completely gone. I walked away. :D

How on earth did this happen? I guess I managed to wean myself off chocolate by accident! For a while, money was tight so I wasn't able to go out and buy a bar for something like 2 weeks. Then my guy came home on leave and I continued to abstain for another 10 days. Then I went on vacation, which was another 2 weeks. I had chocolate then, but I noticed that it didn't pack the same punch that it did before.

Now I don't want it at all, and this is sure to be beneficial in the long run. :)

I'm getting myself dropped down to 205 again. I was there at the end of November, but the holidays and unemployment have taken their toll.

I like that you gave this a bump. :)

Now that the warm season has started, I need to get into a bit better shape - might as well try and get this thread going again to help a little, no?

I'll drink to that.

I'm starting pushups and situps again, I'm getting out of shape and losing money due to unemployment and soon-to-be-returning to school...need to keep active, but it's tricky with my daughter here.

As soon as it's a little warmer and stops fucking raining we'll go to the park and I'll pull her in her little kid-carrier tag-a-long thing behind my bicycle. 5 miles to the park, 5 miles back home.
