To Write While Aroused or Not?

I should preface this by stating I am by no means what I consider to be a writer, and that the three “stories” I’ve posted here on Lit so far were of personal experiences and memories I still occasionally drift back to while masturbating. I think I get into trouble when I'm not aroused and try to write. To be fair, I'm usually aroused, so that's not an issue. Post-orgasmic editing is definitely a thing for me.
