hey guys , its been a long time since i posted in here . but i have a question that i need answered . me and my bf did in fact break up . i know its a good thing . but .. now that im back at home with my mom , ive been having guys asking me out and stuff

im not sure what to say to them .. i mean , i dont know if i should go for it , or wait ..

what do yall think ?????

i'm assuming there are a number of details to go along with this that you haven't posted. from the sound of your question you must have discussed some of the events that culminated in this recent breakup here at lit but i'm not aware of any of it.

that in mind, the only thing i can suggest is that going out on a date doesn't have to be a significant event in a person's life. i'd recommend two things:

1. don't kill your social life. go out, have fun, meet people.

2. make sure you have an adequate time away from any serious relationships so that you re-idenitify with yourself as an individual and no longer as part of a couple. we all change to some degree in the confines of a relationship and you don't want to take any of that augmented definition of yourself with you to a new partner.
