Hello out there! I've never shaved "down there" before, and I'm wondering how to go about it. Just some general questions: How do I get those hard to reach places? How to shave close to my "lips" without irritation? How not to irritate my pubic hair? (i.e avoiding razor burn) Any advice, suggestions, or comments are very appreciated. Thanks!

Use Magic. It's a depilitory creme - do a test patch first, then wait, wipe off with a spatula or credit card. It's fantastic stuff, and cheap! $3 per tube of cream at my grocery store.

I've tried shaving in the past, and will never go back! This is so much better, no irritation, no ingrown hairs, no bumpy weirdnesses that freak me out..

Happy Shaving!

I have found that for me I get a really close shave, avoid razor burn, & irritation, by shaving in the tub. When I take a bath it is so much easier. If you are flexable you can just pull up one leg at a time and it works out well for me. If you can't do it in the tub, lots of shaving cream. And that area is pretty tough, so don't worry about being sensative. Hope this helped.

wow, are you my evil twin???

i'm in washington (DC) and painter... and "that area is pretty tough?" not for me, hon! Magic all the way!

what do you paint? ( i know, I hate it when people ask me that, but I paint backdrops & scenery for theaters... )

I have made several posts on this topic :)

Soak in the tub first, at least 20 minutes.
Use a fresh razor. A good one. I swear by a Gillette Mach 3.
Use a good shaving gel. I like something for sensitive skin.
Go slow, use a mirror if you need to. I go by feel now, pull the skin taut. Shave with the grain of the hair the first time. Rinse, relather then shave against the grain the second time. You'll be ultra smooth.

The most important part of the whole thing for me is:

I get bad razor burn unless I use a nickel sized drop of neosporin rubbed in everywhere I just shaved. Right afterwards. Just rub it in your hands, and rub it on. No bumps, no burn. Miracle stuff.

I shave daily, or every other day, depending.

Magic burns my skin, hence I continue to shave.

Good luck :)
