If your stuff didn't turn you on, then you'd have a problem.

Lol. I've been posting on internet forums for at least five to six years now, and every time there's somebody who makes the largest, wittiest attempt to drag me to the dirt for no reason whatsoever, and it's always tagged with a "what the hell are you looking for, dumbass" type of tone to it. I've heard it so much I'm amused. Back when I first started posting on forums, I'd get irritated; now, however, I find it so comical because there's so many people out there that has that kind of attitude in general towards new posters. I'm sure tickledkitty's more of a welcoming poster than (no sarcasm intended if you thought so) -- I'm not disagreeing with her about the "either relieve yourself or restrain yourself" statement, that's obvious. I've just been stating that my question has been left unanswered by her comical backspin attempt to question my own question.Don't feel badly, WP. You are just getting the Newbie Hazing Procedure from the AH Sachems. They pretended to be mean to me, too, for awhile. But now they all realize that they love me, and always did.
OMG! She knows!
Of course, your insult to Rob is that he'd let me look.
Thanks. I'll give some more tries a go later on.To answer your question:
Yes when I write the erotic part of my stories I too get turned on. What do I do? I either A) continue to write the scene or B) take a break for awhile, sometimes days.
As I usually have several stories going at once I usually just move over to one of the others or as Sarahh suggested turn to editing the one I'm working on or one of the others.
You don't have to finish everything NOW, take your time, slow and easy - just like sex.
So, let the new guy in on everybody's hate for JBJ? Is everybody trading insults with him for the hell of it or is it all pure contempt for his Sarah remark on the first page?
Again, thanks for attempting.
Next?
It's because he doesn't kowtow to their dogma or acknowledge that this forum is their own private club. Don't stand too close to him!

Ah. I see. My presumption stands corrected, then.If you hang around here long enough, you will see that JBJ frequently comes in with gratuitous insults about other posters. Problem is that I never see any attempts at humor in his posts. His goal seems to be to hurt others. Sort of like the little kid who throws stink bombs in a bid for attention. He's the only one I have on ignore, but people persist in quoting him.It does help remind me why I ignore him.

Would you rather me say "Next?" or me write an unnecessarily colossal rant on somebody's hospitality (or lackthereof)?Oh, so I'm dismissed now? Listen, I'll give you a break since you're very young and you're a noob and all. Let me just say this is no way to enter a new forum. Considering your vast experience, you should know that.
Anyway, carry on. And good luck with your little...uh...problem.![]()

I'm a newbie to writing any kind of literotica. I've always wanted to get more into it, but I have a silly problem: In the midst of writing, I get a boner and can hardly contain myself from jacking off, because my mind becomes infiltrated with thoughts from my writing. I know, you can say "Well, why not jack off, then go back to writing?" I've tried that, but then the inspiration to write seems to go away. It's truly blocking my ability to continue writing what I started.
Does this happen to anybody else? How do you assuage the issue?![]()
when did you get so uppity?or acknowledge that this forum is their own private club.
'Prodigy' there's a name that brings preconception with it. couldn't you fit 'precocious' in there too? (insert smiley of choice as levener)
Good points, Varian. I've concluded that it's inevitable. Thanks. If I'm writing a sex scene, it's bound to get me aroused, and at times it's tough to resist sating the urge. Usually, I make a choice: give in and get off, and return to the scene another time, or force myself to carry on writing, and not reward myself with release until the scene is finished.
What keeps me inspired to keep writing, even if I satisfy the arousal, though, is writing stories that are about more than the sex. If the licking and sucking and thrusting were all my writing was about, I'd lose interest pretty quickly, as I would reading that sort of story. Once you're turned on enough to need to get off, what else is there to get out of it?
The name may offend some people, as they'd form a mindset of, per se, "Hey, that ol' dumbass is calling himself a prodigy. He ain't nothin' special! His writing sucks!" But hey, I comprised the name last October, figuring I wouldn't be posting much at all here. I guess it will have to do, and may the excessive insults arise. The flame wars here tend to fizzle after a few posts, maybe sometimes a page or two and largely because the AHers are laughing too hard to type.

BOSTONFICTIONWRITER, that's great! Seriously, where in the hell do you guys find these women who are buckwild like that? The women that I've come into contact with over the past few years never want to get into any extremes.
You're one hilarious dude.

Sarah follows me around like a groupie. She swears she has me on ignore, but she doesnt. The girlie-men are twitterpated for her, and think they can make points with her, defending her honor; they wont, of course.
Again, thanks for attempting.

You are a very bad boy, Freddie! How come you've never asked me for help?
