So I didn't get the patriot because apparently, it was a money sink. The engine overheated almost instantly while we were driving it and we broke down in front of the hospital.
Apparently, the coolant system is fucked and has a bunch of leaks or something, and the dude who was trying to sell it to me told me that he kept a gas can full of water in the back, which was a true fact, and put it in whenever it did that.
My dude, maybe put that in the swapshop ad?
Also maybe adjust your expectations. He wanted over five grand for something that you literally have to stop and put water in every few miles. He's out of his goddamn mind.
Also, it freaked me the fuck out that he put the water in a gas can. Because at one point that likely contained gas and I just... don't cotton to that. So I'll keep looking. Like... "You might be a redneck if"

I looked at a few of those and it really is just the gas thing with me. Well, not just the gas thing, they're also too big. I live in the middle of nowhere, like there are places here that I have to drive every day that aren't, "It'll be awkward if I meet another car" backroads, they're "Trees are hitting your car and if you meet somebody one of you has to back up and try to find somewhere to pull over", and if I park it at my actual house, which is the whole reason I want a new car, I won't be able to turn it around. I mean I can, but I'll get stuck unless I'm on my a-game all the time, and it's kind of hard for me to turn around with my head right now because I have an injury so I really need something tiny.
I'm just trying to make my life more convenient because I live in fucking Deliverance land. I basically need a four-wheeler but a car. I've been thinking about getting a motorcycle to drive to work because my boyfriend has a motorcycle and it's the easiest fucking thing to get around in, but my gf loses her absolute shit every time I suggest that because she says that idiots don't need motorcycles because I'll die. Those are for smart people. I can barely drive a car. And I mean... she's not wrong. And she doesn't want Bitesize on it. She doesn't even want Bitesize on my bf's motorcycle and he's never had any kind of accident or anything. She's just like... I don't know, on her bullshit.
