So today I did something that made people I care about worry about me.
As such I thought I needed to publicly apologise by saying:-

Sorry yes I was a dick today.:(

If it's just me so be it, but I'm guessing others can also admit they did something dickish today.

I blew up at my girlfriend over something trivial in a supermarket. In my defence, I was tired and cranky from not having slept well and it being too warm here, but still. I have since profusely apologised.

Some days you just have to be.. or it can come out randomly sometimes 😶

I haven't been a dick today (to my knowledge) but I've been one enough times in my life to post here.

Sometimes it's intentional and sometimes it isn't 😊

Not today. But in the past. And almost certainly in the future. :(

Nobody is perfect. I know there are people on here that would think I am one often. Not meant that way.

We are all human. No one is perfect and we all have moments when we wish we could redo things a little differently. I think as long as we try to make amends in a sincere way, that’s all we can really do.

(I don’t think you were being a dick)

I am a dick, asshole etc.etc.

What did I do, too many to admit to. I have many flaws and have done a lot of things wrong.

Generally I'm cool

I did come on strong in a pm

Don't think it went down well.

Not really dickish. Just a plain big dick.

And she's going through rough time (which I didn't know)

So, sorry.

I'm not really a dick.

I might have been. I was chatting with a friend online and, asked a simple question. By the lack of response and contact since, I'm guessing it was taken in such a way that I could be seen as a dick, even though that wasn't my intention.

Sometimes people interpret your words to mean something harsh and the true meaning gets lost in translation, it happens to me quite a bit

I'm sure that person got unexpectedly busy. And she hopes you don't think she's a dick. :(

I think that happens a lot online and in text messages. I'm sarcastic, but if you're standing in front of me, you'll understand it. Humans read body language, at least we used to.

I try to teach that in my communications class, but it's harder every year
