A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right

Its two separate clauses. The people have the right to form citizens' militias and they have the right to bear arms.

The "right to privacy" is not even in the document, so clearly if that's a "right" then gun rights are even more so.

Our new breed of conservative believes in the pick and choose version of the Constitution.

If that doesn't work, they just make up shit.

That's why it's so wise to read the words of the founders and framers themselves...

...so the disingenuously socialist truly have nothing to hide behind.

Indiana Constitution

ARTICLE 12. Militia
Section 1. Composition
Section 1. A militia shall be provided and shall consist of all persons over the age of seventeen (17) years, except those persons who may be exempted by the laws of the United States or of this state. The militia may be divided into active and inactive classes and consist of such military organizations as may be provided by law.

Scalia, btw, went against everything he professes to believe in re Heller. He's been making noises recently, though, that he may have had a rethink.

Why don't you go read what the founders and framers actually said about what a "Militia" is and precisely why an individual's right to bear arms is unalienable...

...and then come back and explain your socialist stand on the issue.

I suggest you read Scalia on Originalism of late. Go Google Originalism first.

Scalia is not above the law...

...as is no man.

I'd advise trying not to ride his horse so high just because you favor the way he happens to be trotting at any given time...

...but as a socialist yourself, that advise would no doubt be wasted.

So you don't know what originalism is. Noted.

Yeah...

...and I'm obsessed with you, too - don't let your starving ego whine any more without projecting that again.

Succinctly, as a socialist...

...you cannot abide what shall not be infringed means.

If you were an American instead of being a simple foreigner with absolutely no practical business in the issue...

...I'd view your socialist input as a criminal, not merely irrelevant.
