I do agree though.. those neverending threads are kinda dull. My view is it's for a few reasons
1. People are too stupid to post long answers so stick to those.
2. It's to up their post count so they feel important. Cos high post counts mean you are great. Right?
3. People like to trawl for fresh meat there and it saves time with meaningless talk
or.... maybe.. just maybe...
4. They enjoy it.

Why do you feel the need to ask if you hate it so much? Why not stay in your own little pool of slime?

I stuck a couple of threads up on the General Board, and you know, I quite enjoyed them.

As far as the OP goes, I myself have often wondered if Literonia wouldn't benefit from an 'offshoot' forum where folks who like to wind one another up could go and have a giggle.

Yes, I know I've been around so long I'm jaded, but I've always felt a 'General Board' should be a place where a debate comes to a natural end, and a 'Playground' should be where it doesn't.

Obviously, we all let off steam in different ways: for myself, I spend most of the day screaming and insulting people until they agree with me, so doing the same in my leisure time doesn't hold an iota of appeal.

~ Gotta say though, one side of me is enjoying the premise of this thread.
