I liked Peachy's thread on books, but as I was thinking of my list, movies that followed this same theme kept popping into my head.

The ONE movie that always seems to escape me when I'm in the video store is Casablanca. Yes, I'm ashamed to admit it, I've never seen this movie. Another that I SHOULD have made time for and haven't....or at least I can't recall seeing was Citizen Kane despite knowing the story line.

So, what are yours?

I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life either...

Somewhere somebody is shaking their head, I know it.

There's a whole slew of older movies I've never seen...and I don't know that I'll ever see any of them. I'm not interested in the best movies of the 40s and 50s, quite frankly.

Hey Babe, I'm with you all the way, on all three. I never saw Dr. Zhivago or Gone with the Wind either.

However, I did recently seee "Dial M for Murder" and "Rear Window". Good thing, too, as the family was about to disown me.

THANK GOD! Where the hell have you been? *hands on hips*

I lost my guru status while you were out doing god knows what AND I have no flipping title. I'm absolutely lost without you!

That's a shame. Golden age of theater and all...well, the thirties and forties.

Oh...and I have seen DOCTOR ZHIVAGO and GONE WITH THE WIND, though I never manage to sit all the way through either without having to leave for something, so I always miss parts.

*gasps*

It just occured to me, I never saw KING KONG!!!!!!!!

God, I've been living in a hole for 23 years!

I've seen parts of that one...but not the whole thing.

I'm sorry, I wasn't here for the big event..but I noticed right away because you know I notice everything about you. ;)

I kinda like Short and Sweet.

Of course you did, cause you KNOW it's all about ___!

I knew you'd solve my crisis. *kisses*

DOCTOR ZHIVAGO
GONE WITH THE WIND
AFRICAN QUEEN
LAWRENCE OF ARABIA
BEN HUR
SINGING IN THE RAIN
CITIZEN KANE
STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
ON THE WATERFRONT
ALL THE PRESIDENTS MEN
THE KING AND I

I think you just listed from the top 100 list...*grins* and suddenly I don't feel so bad. *wink*

Me! ME!! It's all about ME! Thanks for finally admitting it, I know it must be difficult for you, babe.

And what can I say, I'm amazing. *grin*

I've seen nearly all of Kevin Spacey's movies but two: The Shipping News and Pay It Forward. These are ones I personally want to see. I've heard good things about both. He has a new one coming out too...The Life of David Gale produced by Nicolas Cage. Looks to be a great flick!

I've always wanted to see Citizen Kane too..

The worst part is, I know the *secret* to the movie, but I never saw it.

*sigh*

I think that's the reason most of us that haven't seen it continue to NOT see it. (that didn't make sense, did it?)

That's because you keep crawling inside my head and picking through my brains.
