Freya- I had the same reaction as Lavy to your post. I expected it from you. But to answer your question, in a thread where someone was genuinely trying to educate anyone who was interested in learning about Ramadan, I DO think posting a pick of the Ramada Inn and cracks about buffets was insulting. Of course, then his sidekicks had to join him there and post even more insulting comments, so maybe that's why it seemed even worse. Does Lance ever travel without his pack?

The true test of insult would be whether CH was insulted or not, by the way. I can't speak for him.

I did realize something.

This type of statement is what bothers me more than anything. It was an attack on an innocent party simply because she doesn't share your enemy list. It was uncalled for and beneath your "debating" style.

I've seen this done way too often ... not just by you, but by others ... it's a gang mentality that is counterproductive to independent opinions. We are all capable of making our own decisions on who to like, or not like ... to get insulting to someone who disagrees with your choices is rather childish behavior.
