A quiet passing...

Just posting here quickly to let you all know that Vella's mother passed away this afternoon. She was a tremendous spirit and I was fortunate enough to be able to meet her just a few weeks ago. As you can imagine, her loss is very heavily felt by her entire family, but probably no one moreso than Vella who has cared for her daily for the past several years of her life. She will be unavailable for a little while, but she wanted to thank you all for your support and caring over the past week.

I know Vella is much loved by many here, and that Vella loves her mother even more. How sweet must Vella's mother have been to her, how sweet she must still be.
