Many of the females here don't show their faces. Personally I think this is a very wise move. The thing is though, how come there are so many people telling them how hot they are when they don't even know what they look like? Thanks.

Generally, a woman who takes pains to maintain her body fit, dresses with care and posts tasteful pics, well.... she can't have too shabby a face

I disagree. Well, with the latter two I do. Looking at your avatar I have no problems with people calling you hot as you have a pretty amazing body. Yet how many women on here have a body like that? In almost all the threads I see they don't, and they also don't show their faces (which, can I again say I agree with).

I think people say it for a few reasons: appreciation that the person has gone to the trouble to post pictures; to encourage them to post more pictures; and flattery. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this incidentally. It's all just a bit of fun isn't it?

Just trying to stimulate a bit of debate!

I am fairly certain that lots of people are finding my body indifferent because their preferences lay with different body types, which is perfectly natural.
I have seen ladies with different body types, posting ravishingly beautiful faces.

Nowadays, most ladies know very well how to enhance their strong points, you hardly ever see 'ugly' women any more.
Beauty in everyday life is not defined by perfection of features, it's a combination of looks and personality.

I don't know...I've seen people before with amazing bodies and meh faces...and the other way around too.

I post my face, which is probably quite dumb, but I haven't had anything bad happen yet, but I do because I feel that I need to enhance what I lack below my head with facial expressons.

I agree that encouragement plays a role. I'd also venture to say that most people who visit the Pics threads have motives that really don't require faces. They see faces everyday, in everyday life, but naked boobs, pusses, and weiners, on the other hand, aren't, for some, such a customary occurence.

Judging from your response to ran, however, I'm certain you're more curious about people complimenting bodies you don't find attractive more than you're curious about the flattery given to bodies without faces.

I really wish I had the guts to post a clear shot of my face, but that will just never happen. The potential horror of being recognized is just too great. I was even a bit apprehensive about posting my tattoos for fear they were too distinctive, but I decided the chance of being recognized by the tat was pretty slim.

Also I have a sneaking suspicion that the ladies who do post their faces get quite a few more creepy stalker-type followers.

Why do you need to see a face to know if someone is hot or beautiful?

Isnt beauty from within and how you let that beauty out?
