Sexually, I'm interested in both genders. I have had a reasonable amount of experience with both males and females. But I find that, for some reason, I am interested in S&M strictly with males. I was once dominated by a woman, and I didn't enjoy it. It seemed to go against my natural sense of sexuality. But the paltry few times I've been dominated by men I found it to be incredibly arousing. To me, it feels natural. But one of these men told me that it was rather strange for S&M desires to extend only to one gender.

So I'm asking--is this that unusual? What about you?

It doesn't relate to the naturalness issue with genders though, being more the outcome of life experiences. I expect it will change over time as there have been spaces in time when I have spent endless hours fantasising about being dominated by a couple of particular women (and curse the one opportunity I had to live the fantasy and let it slip by!), though not in the same way I am dominated right now.....lol, and I know for sure they are not the type women who would interest the Domly One, though I think he would find it entertaining to have either of them dominate me.

The thing is.. When I think about being Dom/med by either gender, male Doms don't scare me half as bad as Dommes do. (With certain exceptions..) It's weird. The ladies are more intimidating then the gents, for some reason. I haven't figured out why.

Another weird thing. When I think of a TG/TV Domme, she goes into the scarey as hell column, too, rather than the scarey one.

It's kind of like, if someone gave me a choice between a Dom, a Domme, or a couple of switches; I'd probably approach in the following order.. male switch , Dom, female switch, Domme. This is, of course, assuming the people are an unkown quantity. If you start throwing people I know, that could change. (Re the exceptions mentioned above.)

Interesting question...

I am bi-sexual and have tasted Dominance as a top (enjoyed it, too), but will answer the question based on where I have the most experience.

IRL, I have served a Dom. Online, I have served a Dom and a Domme. When it started out, I served my Domme because my Dom ordered it - or honestly, I was a gift to her (a reward) for her faithful service.

Now, I serve her because I love her; I love how she treats me and how she makes me feel. Still, Master is the singular authority we submit to; but Mistress more than stands in his stead when in Domme mode.

So, to answer the question, yes, I can serve both - if their personality is strong enough to bring me under submission. I cannot be "coereced" into submission by brute force (or the a$$hole mentality-take your pick). I know I will only submit to one who is so confident in who and what they are that s/he never needs to demand ANYTHING from me. The one I serve must earn my respect in order to release the intensely passionate love which anchors my submission.

When that happens, "my sanctuary" - and the untold riches enshrined therein - becomes theirs to command...

W H Y ... is it that women are considered evil bitches - and frightening evil bitches at that?

My hypothesis is that most "submissive" women grow up looking at boys/men through a different set of eyes than girls/women. Many things in history have taught women that men are to be revered and respected as "Masters of their domain"... But women were subservient - even Queens to their Kings - or to their sons or other male advisors. Seems that old thought patterns may never die...(fortunately for the Dom/mes of the world).

OR - perhaps it's the fact that women KNOW (for at least 1 week every month) EXACTLY what other women of child bearing age are capable of.

I'm not afraid of what Dommes are capable of during a cycle...I'm afraid of what I'M capable of...
