A New Spin on Nicknames & Chat Handles

We've all done our part for the many many threads about how we gave birth to our Nick's.

What I would like to know is: What nicks did you try out and then discard? You know, the ones that sounded good at first but wound up just too ridiculous to keep?

My first chat nick was Alpha Lioness. It was a great nick, it screamed "superiority". But, it wasn't a very playful name. I tried a number of nicks after it before I fell in love with Savage Kitten. I tried my best to stay with the feline theme. One of the most memorable and silliest was ScRaTcHeR. Another discarded nick was Feline Wild.

So, what are the nicks that just didn't live up to your expectations??

I was originally Romany in IRC chat but everyone thought I was a guy named Roman. That bit. Eventually I changed it to Muff|n, yeah there's usually a Muffin in there already. You guess it, "wanna cyber?" central. So I tacked Killer on there. K|llerMuff|n was born. You know what? People are seriously fucked up, I got more "wanna cyber?" than before. I got sick of all the chat wars going on and the fights there and eventually ended up here. I ditched the stupid IRC | and hung up my shingle as KillerMuffin.

Sometimes I talk to the old chat gang and they still call me Romany.

I've done chat stints, more as an "I'm having a different day" kind of thing than as a nickname change, as:

Yeah I remember when I first seen "Seraphically Disinclined " in your title, I loved it!

I had to chuckle at your walk down chat memory lane. I used to get the same stuff. When I changed my nick to Savage Kitten the big money question of the day was "So, just how savage are you??" haha talk about getting sick of that one liner haha

V.I. (yes, just the initials)
damnit (loved when people posted "damnit" so I could come back with "Yes?")

Here I re-used LukkyKnight which I use one other place and for email at yahoo.

There is not enough room for me to post all of my handles that I have had since I have been on the internet. I was an adult chat room monitor, at one time, and had to change constantly because adults like to act like children, when they hide behind a screen, and hated being told not to spam or harrass another member. The emails I received were threatening, (I suppose they were going to hit me with cyber purses), and I changed the handle often to keep the heat down. Awww, those were the days...
