A new executive order aims to preserve abortion access, but its reach is limited

All this back and forth, its still up to the states, they can beg for senators all day long, the Gubernatorial races are where its going to matter.
And that should've never been the case.

Australian woman passing through America to reach Canada to cat sit (in a see-the-world-stay-at-house-free-for-cat-sitting='a thing') was badgered in San Fran by border control. She has details of lots of places she's traveled to using the same method of 'sit-to-stay', so it wasn't a one-off.

They seemed very hooked on wanting to know if she was pregnant or had recently had an abortion, repeatedly asking the same questions. Eventually, they decided not to allow her to travel on but deported her, citing the cat-sitting-in-exchange-for-compensation as not permitted. The woman was deported but has put in a complaint which is being investigated.

Waaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!

All fixed for you.

The worst part is that you fucking stupid sons a bitches can't even figure out that there's a way to actually create the Right you seem to think exists in the Constitution.

It's called the Amending the Constitution.

Right now, only 9 States have banned Abortion. That leaves 41 which haven't. Only 38 States are required to ratify an amendment.

Now I know maf is hawd fo y'all, but 38 is less than 41. An amendment to the Constitution which defines medical privacy as part of the "person" in the 4th Amendment would probably get ratified.

IF, that is, you stupid sons a bitches could actually get off your asses and draft it instead of whining like the little shits you really are in the hopes of pandering for votes to keep your party in power. Which means that the reality is; the D's don't really care about abortion, they care about keeping the stupid under control and voting blue.

And of course if any D actually proposed such an amendment, they'd get excoriated for it by both the D's and the R's. After which the D's would promptly draft the amendment and add all kinds of pork and grift to it so it will never get ratified, just so they could blame the R's for it even though we'd all see where the real fail happened.

You're the party of forcing 10 year olds to carry rape babies to term. What other party would a piece of shit rapist like you support?

Does your purported championing of Medicare for All include abortion for women?
Well of course not. Sluts don't deserve any medical care what so ever. Any woman seeking an abortion should be publicly shamed, charged with murder and face a firing squad (while still pregnant if need be).

Come to think of it, why are we even giving women free education K-!2? How many years does it take for them to learn how to make me a sandwich?

Does BlueDiapers realize Bubba hasn't been around for a while?
Your sincere concern over the well being of child rape victims is noted.

Victims of Jeffery Epstein share the emotional toll that sexual abuse has taken on them — even years after the abuse occurred. Miami Herald reporter Julie K. Brown interviewed the young women, most speaking for the first time about Epstein.

Situational Medicare for All. He must be .0729% Native American.
This is rich. I'm sincerely for Medicare for All and call out the shitty corporate bought politicians that won't pass it. You're the guy who has endless whiny excuses for why Democrats can't deliver on Medicare for All when the rest of the civilized has had universal healthcare for decades. Come on. Let's hear your greatest hits on why the feckless, do nothing, surrender monkey Democrats can't get Medicare for All passed when it's cheaper, covers everyone, and the majority of voters want it.

Following President Joe Biden's July 8 executive order on reproductive health, HHS issued new "clarifying guidance" on the EMTALA. The guidance "reaffirmed that [the EMTALA] protects providers when offering legally-mandated, life- or health-saving abortion services in emergency situations."

Judge Hendrix granted a preliminary injunction against the enforcement of the EMTALA as interpreted in HHS' July guidance, in Texas as well as against members of both the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians & Gynecologists and Christian Medical & Dental Associations.

His decision is in response to a lawsuit filed by Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on July 14.

At the time of filing, Paxton stated: "This administration has a hard time following the law, and now they are trying to have their appointed bureaucrats mandate that hospitals and emergency medicine physicians perform abortions." He indicated he was resolved to "ensure that President Biden will be forced to comply with the Supreme Court's important decision concerning abortion and I will not allow him to undermine and distort existing laws to fit his administration's unlawful agenda."

edited as i've rethought on it: not so much the 'thugs set to prevent' but an inconsiderate blocking of a vehicle signalling to turn into the ER, the second cop finishing the convo and driving away after husband explains the situation, but the first pulling husband over demanding to see his license etc... Now, bear in mind, the situation has already been explained to the cops.. this is where i think the anti-abortion thing might well have kicked in and the husband didn't help matters BUT that is not unexpected in a situation where he thinks his wife may be miscarrying and needs to get her into the hospital NOW rather than play stupid cop games. Then cop wastes time calling fire rescue, wasting taxpayers' dollars as well as valuable time (if the wife could have been miscarrying). It's all stupid and could have been very dangerous.

pregnant lady has accident; on her doctor's orders and in considerable pain, she is accompanied to the ER of the hospital by her husband. Cops block her from entering, and it's not till first responders take her bp and it's sky high do they permit her inside.

The two officers are spotted blocking the emergency room’s entrance and, after Encisco honked at them, one of the cops came up to the couple’s car.

The woman – an employee at the hospital – expressed her worries that she’d have a miscarriage as her husband is told to get out of the car.

After Sabrina Enciso exited the car, the officer commented, “oh, so you’re OK now.”
once she tells him no, she's not, he tells her to take a seat outside and insists on calling fire rescue(! wthf?) despite them being just feet from the ER.
