A good (long) read on gun control.

So they are very much made for killing as they were originally designed as such....just so happens we found other uses for them from the pragmatic and sporting to acts of evil, just like guns.

Just like guns?

You're right, that sharp/blunt objects were the first weapons. And with the mind of a nitpicker, you could say that a sword, a rapier or a dagger is a knife, too. And I would still say that they are designed for killing, in difference to the ordinary kitchen knife. Who still uses a sword, and for what?

They were outperformed by guns.

In killing.

You were arguing design intent, not performance bro...which is it??

As for performance if you want to talk body count guns as a whole are fairly low on the list. Assault weapons in particular are WAY down on the list of things that kill Americans, it bounces between nut allergies and vending machine accidents.

Fuck IDK why I talk to you about this shit, you actually think there is a difference between a .223 SA competition rifle, a .223 SA hunting rifle and a .223 SA "Assault" rifle....same fucking guns.....HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
