A Seaman saying, "I learned this in boot camp.."

A Petty Officer saying, "Trust me, sir.."

A Ensign saying, "Based on my experience.."

A Captain saying, "I was just thinking.." and a

Warrant Officer chuckling, "Watch this shit.."

Especially the Warrant Officer - right before something blows the fuck up.

We had this thing called "applied night fire" down at Lejune. At o-dark hundred, about 500 of us, our M-16's stacked and packed with 10 tracers each, 50,000 rounds of firey death missles. This Warrant took off his smokie bear, drill instructor cover and ran it out to a little hill about a 100 yards out. With a bull horn he instructed all of us to aim for his hat. Ready, aim, fire - MAN!!!! The fucking sky lit up like pink hell.

Not one round found it's way through that damn hat - he was pissed. Bends and thrust for all 500 of us in the mud.
