That was more in order to cut out the reference to the "Northmen." I didn't want to make it too obvious for you all. ;)

Thank you for adding that which I was remiss in including.

Google is starting to Piss me Off

And i'm tired of trying to counterhunt a quote.

With that said ... Jump Ball.

This should be quick.

"Brace yourselves -- the area of penetration will no doubt be sensitive."

That would be Spock from a Star Trek episode called 'The Immunity Syndrome'

I recognized it as Star Trek, but had to google to find the episode as I've never watched the show.

My turn, hey? Let me think of a good one and I'll edit the post when I think of it

Damn, it's hard to find things that aren't on the internet! After trying on and off for a couple of days, I've decided I don't care. This one's Google-able, but do try and resist.

"I assure you. [She] is charming and spirited, with a pleasing voice and a dainty step, she is the epitome of all the qualities society applauds in her sex -- and yet her chief renown is for a readiness that keeps her in a state of tropical humidity as would grow orchids in her drawers in January!"

I removed the character's name to give myself a chance. If you want, I'll give hints or additional quotes if you can't get it . . . that is, if you can resist the temptation to Google!

I actually have to admit that I knew this one before I googled to check it. I have really liked Tom Stoppard ever since I read Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. The quote however is from Arcadia and the name that you replaced is "Mrs. Chater" as Septimus was speaking to her husband about her reputation.

Nice work, Wednesday's Rose. I really enjoyed reading the play too. I'm delighted to get a chance to see it in the spring.

Okay, your turn. What'll it be?

There's a quote on the way, though it will most likely be tomorrow before I get it up. I need to go look up the exact wording without Google.

While we wait for WR to surface again ...

"Is she safe?"

"Yeah, she's safe."

"We brought the girl back."

"Yeah, she just took the long way home."

Ok, sorry everyone...
It's been a really long weekend before exams.

I do have a quote to post. I am posting this mainly because I really liked the quotes, though I honestly don't expect anyone to get it. It would be cool if I was wrong thouh.

So here it is...

What is this....slap the librarian day?!

and just because I liked it you get a second quote from the same source. (I'm mostly sure of the exact wording on this one but don't shoot at me if it's a tiny bit off. That's why this is the second, extra quote.)

"You're smiling. I hate it when you smile."
"And why is that?"
"Because it always means you're about to do something incredibly dangerous."
"You know me so well"

The font change is to indicate two speakers.
If no one gets this by tomorrow I'll post something that should be easier.
Good luck!

Hi Wednesday'sRose.
Firstly good luck with your exams!

I was convinced it was a line from Buffy but I think it comes from....

Yep, laughed my butt off watching it.

Did you mean to do a quote with the answer?

Oops. I didn't post one as I wasn't quite sure about the answer.
Thanx for confirming it..

Okay..a film..just before a classic moment..
A finger? Come on. I've had my finger in my ass, but I wouldn't say I've had anal sex.

Answer to yours ... Chasing Amy

New Quote

"Is she safe?"

"Yeah, she's safe."

"We brought the girl back."

"Yeah, she just took the long way home."

Glad I'm not the only one that got to see it. I figured that the quotes wouldn't have made it online yet so I wasn't sure if anyone else would know. Yay! I'm not the only person that watches made for tv Indiana Jones/Tombraider rip offs!

Did we give up?

This quote still stands ...

Last Call ... Bueller?

"Is she safe?"

"Yeah, she's safe."

"We brought the girl back."

HEY! I actually knew that one. Too bad I was not yet here when you posted it originally.

And now, in proper submissive tone:

Thank You Sir, might we please have another?

An easy one, and quite timely

"The same law that gives you the right to say anything you want also gives me the right to ridicule what you say mercilessly."

Dennis Miller? Thank you for the easy one! Mine is kind of sad:

"There was one more: Nassrin. She is not in the photographs-- she didn't make it to the end. Yet my tale would be incomplete without those who could not or did not remain with us. Their absences persist, like an acute pain that seems to have no physical source."

Correct.

You'll have to do better on items that you can Google easily.
